Internationalization
Expanding into international markets requires more than interest in selling abroad. It requires clear priorities, reliable market information, adapted communication, operational preparation, and the ability to build trusted relationships with buyers, partners, distributors, and other stakeholders.
In collaboration with strategic partners in Brazil and abroad, Occasio supports companies preparing to internationalize their products or services through a structured 3-phase roadmap. Each phase is adapted to the company’s objectives, market-entry strategy, project scope, and level of support required.
Pricing is defined on a case-by-case basis, considering the target market, type of solution, project complexity, and period of support needed.
Phase 1 - Preparation & Planning
This phase helps assess the company’s current structure, objectives, products or services, investment capacity, and readiness for international expansion.
For companies offering tangible products, this may include:
- Understanding the company profile, products, internationalization objectives, and investment potential
- Reviewing export or import requirements, licenses, certifications, and operational readiness
- Assessing logistics, documentation, regulatory requirements, and administrative procedures
- Coordinating with specialized partners when additional technical, customs, or logistics support is required
For companies offering services, this may include:
- Understanding the company profile, service offering, international objectives, and investment potential
- Assessing how the service could be positioned or adapted for other markets
- Reviewing potential business models for international delivery or partnership
Phase 2 — International Communication & Positioning
This phase helps prepare the company to communicate more effectively with international clients, buyers, partners, investors, or stakeholders.
Support may include:
- Adapting communication materials for international audiences, including brochures, websites, presentations, videos, and social media
- Reviewing or improving the company’s pitch, presentation, or commercial message
- Preparing teams for international meetings, negotiations, and cross-cultural business interactions
- Supporting communication in English, Spanish, or Portuguese
- Translating materials when required, with costs defined according to the project scope
Phase 3 — Market Research & Business Engagement
This phase helps the company identify potential markets, evaluate opportunities, and prepare for engagement with buyers, partners, distributors, or other relevant contacts.
Support may include:
- Analysis of potential markets for the company’s products or services
- Recommendations on how to identify, approach, and communicate with potential buyers, partners, or distributors
- Research on possible contacts in selected markets
- Support in preparing outreach messages, introductory emails, or communication materials
- Guidance on follow-up strategy and relationship-building with international contacts
Additional Support
Additional support may include direct communication with potential buyers, partners, or distributors, as well as support for participation in international missions, trade events, or business meetings. These services can be defined separately according to the company’s objectives and project scope.
*This would be an extra cost to be defined with the company.
